Rowing requires the mental and physical maturity typically found in middle and high school students, making this an ideal age to begin.

If your youth is looking for a competitive sport, we recommend joining the Youth Competitive program HERE. All of our rowers begin with no experience and join rowing from various sporting backgrounds, or none at all.

Row Georgia is a year-round nonprofit rowing program proudly operating under the authority of Fayette County. Our facility is located on beautiful Lake McIntosh. The lake is owned and operated by Fayette County. Programs include spring, summer, fall, and winter seasons. The program offers rowing for middle school, high school, and adults. Private lessons are based on availability.

Practices are held at Lake McIntosh, 3501 TDK Blvd. Peachtree City, Ga. We are a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) organization established in August 2015 to encourage and further the instruction, improvement, and competition in and the enjoyment of the art of rowing.  Fees raised through our programs are used to fund coach salaries, equipment leases, insurance, and other operational expenses. Only coaches are paid, all other operations are provided by volunteers who support the program.

As a 501(c)(3), donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

Completion of transaction does not indicate enrollment. All participants must be; in good financial standing, have all dues paid in full and on time, must be in good code of conduct standing, and have submitted all requirements, as determined by US Rowing, Fayette County, and Row Georgia.
