Rowing is the ultimate team sport.
Creating a vibrant rowing community is part of our mission. All participants, parents of minor participants, guests, and volunteers are required to adhere to all codes of conduct by US Rowing, Fayette County Parks and Recreation, and Row Georgia, as well as local, state, and federal laws. These requirements apply to in-person conduct and to all methods of communication. Participation, privileges, and presence may be restricted and or prohibited otherwise. Row Georgia is a 501c3 nonprofit and season fees are required to conduct programs. All previous balances must be paid in full prior to participation. Completion of this transaction does not indicate participation approval as participants must be in good standing with Row Georgia, not have any outstanding balance, and meet all registration steps and completion of US Rowing, Fayette County, and Row Georgia requirements before being approved for the roster.
HS Competitive Season Refund policy: Row Georgia commits equipment and staffing resources for each season. Registration is used to pay for these resources. In the event a cancellation is requested in writing within 30 days of the first day of the season, a refund, less 25% and the prorated days based on the date of the request will be issued back to the card used on the account. Refunds after 30 days (less prorated days based on the date of the request) are given only with a doctor's statement of the participant's incapacitating illness or injury. All refund requests must be submitted to treasurer.rowgeorgia@gmail.com. Terms and conditions are subject to change.
We are a not-for-profit, 501c3 organization established in August 2015 to encourage and further the instruction, improvement, and competition in and the enjoyment of the art of rowing. Fees raised through our programs are used to fund coaches' salaries, equipment leases, insurance, and other operational expenses. All donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
