2025 Spring Rec Youth
Welcome to RGA's Youth Spring 2025 season.
Dates: Youth REC 2/4/25 - 5/13/25, Mandatory Orientation Meeting Tuesday 1/28/25 at The Bridge, 225 Willowbend, Peachtree City, GA.
Registration is scheduled to open at 5pm, Sat 1/25/25
Youth REC Schedule: 2x per week, Tue 4:45pm-6:45pm, Sat 10:30am-12:30pm (times may be adjusted a few minutes to accomodate shared dock space and daylight. Any adjustments will be communicated by the coach).
How to Register:
1. Select your status and checkout.
- Spring Tryouts Participant - If you participated in Spring Tryouts and you are registering for Spring Rec, select "Rec - Participated in Tryouts". The county Impact fee was already charged during Tryouts, and Spring Rec balance will be reduced by the Tryouts $100 payment.
- Returning or New Rec Participant (did not participate in Tryouts) - select "Rec - Returning or New" and checkout.
2. Boathouse Connect:
- If you are brand new to Row Georgia, we'll email you within 24 hours with a parent onboarding link, and a rower onboarding link, and instructions to create your profiles.
- If you are a returning rower, required registration documents will be added to your boathouseconnect.com profile. It may take up to 24 hours for all relevant documents to be added to the Spring group. Access your forms via a webbrowser, not the app. From inside your BC Profile on boathouseconnect.com, click on "Waivers and Docs" > "My Waivers and Docs".

- Parents: Complete the required documents in the parent BC profile. At least one parent must sign parent documents.
- Rowers: Complete the required documents in the rower BC profile.

Choose the correct program as detailed in the email from the coaches, and select your payment option:-
REC $655 County resident / $675 non Fayette county resident:
- Returning or New to RGA (and did not participate in Spring Tryouts Participant), select your county residency and checkout.
- Participated in Spring Tryouts, the amount has been reduced by your Spring Tryouts payment.

Payment Process:
- Make sure you're logged into, or create your rowgeorgia.com account to complete checkout from this screen.
- Transactions must be completed through your Row Georgia account.
- Accepted payment methods will be shown at checkout.
- To help the program avoid a 2.5% processing fee, select “other” at checkout and immediately pay via Venmo, Zelle. Or, bring a check to Orientation on 1/28/25.

- Checks are accepted only at 1/28/25 Orientation for completed transactions using payment method "other" at checkout.
Sibling Registration & Discount:
- Register siblings: Add the first registrant, then select "continue shopping" and repeat for the second sibling.

Sibling discount:
- Pay in full: Use code "rowfam2024" at checkout for 10% off.
- Payment plan: The sibling discount will be reduced from the remaining balance. The sibling discount does not apply to the $50 Payment Plan Fee or Impact fees.
Financial Requirements:
- All previous balances must be paid in full before participation eligibility.
- Registration must be fully completed, including compliance with all US Rowing, Row Georgia, and Fayette County requirements as detailed during registration.
- Participants must be in good standing.
Late Fee and Refund Policy:
- Refunds are available within 30 days of the season start date, less 25% and prorated days based on the request date.
- Refunds requested after 30 days are only given with a doctor's statement of the participant's incapacitating illness or injury.
- All refund requests must be submitted to president.rowgeorgia@gmail.com.
- Late payments incur a $25 fee for every 7 days past the due date.
- Delinquent payments result in suspension of participation.

Organization Information:
Row Georgia is a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) organization established in August 2015 to promote rowing by creating opportunities to learn, advance, compete and enjoy the sport. Fees support coaching salaries, equipment leases, insurance, and operational expenses. Donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
