Row Georgia Adult Memberships & Seasonal Programs
Row Georgia offers various membership and seasonal program options for adult rowers. Below is an overview of the currently available or planned adult rowing programs.
Overall, if you have never rowed before, lessons will be required to get you to proficiency to join one of our group programs.
If you are a returning rower, just make sure your Boathouse Connect profile is up to date, and checkout. No need for any additional forms because BC reconciles with US Rowing and maintains all rower profiles going forward. It's a one-and-done! Welcome back!

1. Adult/Masters - SEASONAL PROGRAMS
Spring, Fall, Winter and Summer Seasons
Designed for adult rowers who wish to participate in coached group sessions during the spring and fall months, each season will be published for registration. Seasonal programs are for recreational and competitive adult rowers, with optional regatta opportunities available in Spring, Fall and Summer.
Returning Rowers:
- Make sure your Boathouse Connect profile @ boathouseconnect.com is current with your US Rowing Membership information. No need to fill out any additional paperwork, because your BC Profile retains your information each season and reconciles in real-time with US Rowing.
- Complete payment for the current season.
New to RGA?
- New to RGA? Email Head Coach Lambert at headcoach@rowgeorgia.com and share what your experience (if any) is in rowing. He will share the next step which generally includes a coach evaluation and flip test. If you've never rowed before, schedule a private lesson with one of our coaches to help get you ready!
2. ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP
This is a great option for an adult rower (not a rower who qualifies for a youth program), who wants to row independantly, and/or in addition to the adult structured 3x week coached adult season program. Annual Members receive a discount on Fall and Spring Adult Seasons. This membership provides flexibility for rowers to row either using their own equipment or designated Row Georgia boats, during available times outside of youth programming and special events. Rowing proficiency assessment is required to be conducted by the Head Coach, and includes a flip test.
Types - RGA offers two types of adult individual annual memberships:

Individual Membership: $505 (Fayette residents) or $525 (Non-Fayette residents)

Individual Membership + Boat Storage: $530 (Fayette residents) $550 (Non-Fayette residents) Includes the same benefits as the Individual Membership, plus boat storage inside our locked gates facility. All boat storage must be preappoved by the Head Coach as we have limited space.

Annual Membership Privileges

Rowing Privileges:
Annual members have row-on-your-own privileges, using either their own boat and oars or RGA-designated equipment. Members are allowed to use only the equipment assigned to them. - Facility Access:
- In addition to rowing equipment, members have access to the facility’s ergs.
- Facility access is available outside of published youth programming and special events.
- Discounts:
- Annual members receive a 25% discount on the Masters Spring and/or Fall Seasons.
- Note: Discounts do not apply to Summer, Winter seasons, lessons, or any other programming.
Annual Membership Guest Policy
- Annual members in good standing may bring one guest per day for $15 (maximum of 7 days per month).
- Pre-approval: Guests must be pre-approved in writing by the Head Coach and paid in advance. Include guest name, proposed dates, and times in the email to headcoach@rowgeorgia.com, and cc secretary@rowgeorgia.com.
- Liability Waiver: Guests must complete a liability waiver before participating.
- US Rowing Membership: Guests must have a valid US Rowing membership.
- Age Requirement: Guests must be 18 years or older and must row in the same boat as the member. Guests do not have individual rowing privileges.

Extended Guest Visits:
For stays longer than 7 days per month, guests must join an available published program or take private lessons with Row Georgia. - Violation of Guest Policy: Misuse of equipment or failure to comply with guest policies will result in suspension or termination of membership privileges.

Membership Evaluation: The Head Coach will evaluate your request, considering factors such as:
- Rowing proficiency assessment (including a flip test and swim test)
- Equipment availability
- Resources and space constraints
- Household financial standing with Row Georgia (all outstanding balances must be cleared)
- You will be notified in writing with next step requirements and instructions.

Approval Considerations:
- Not all applications may be accepted.
- If applying after June 30, the Head Coach may approve a half-year membership at half the full-year fee, plus a $50 administration fee.
- For applications after the half-year point, the $25 daily pass program is the only partial pass.

Final Steps: If approved, you will receive confirmation via email. Payment will be due immediately upon approval. Once payment is processed, the Head Coach will connect with you to go over equipment and facility use.
3. RGA Alumni - Summer & Winter Break Privileges

Eligibility:
- Available for rowers who graduated high school while enrolled at Row Georgia and are currently full-time college students.
- Alumni are required to list "Row Georgia (fka PTCRC)" as their youth rowing program experience in any bios or resumes where youth rowing is mentioned.

- Email Review Request: After updating or creating your BC Profile, email headcoach@rowgeorgia.com and cc rowgeorgia@rowgeorgia.com.

Evaluation: The Head Coach will evaluate your request, considering factors such as:
- Rowing proficiency assessment (including a flip test and swim test as determined by the coach)
- Equipment availability
- Resources and space constraints
- Household financial standing with Row Georgia (all outstanding balances must be paid in full).

Approval Process:
- Not all applications may be accepted.
- If approved, you will receive confirmation via email. Payment will be due immediately upon approval, pay HERE.
- Once payment is processed, the Head Coach will connect with you to go over equipment and facility use.
- Alumni rowing privileges cannot interfere with scheduled practices, camps, or other events.
4. Visiting Rower

Eligibility:
- For $25 per daily visit, an out-of-town visiting adult rower can apply to row with an adult group session.

Application Requirements & Process:
- Update or create your boathouse connect profile HERE.
- For insurance purposes, a valid US Rowing membership is required.
- Boathouse Connect reconciles with US Rowing in real-time to confirm membership status.
- If approved, your BC Profile will be assigned required documents such as RGA Fayette County Liability Waiver, Code of Conduct, and any others relevant to the program.
- Update or create your boathouse connect profile HERE.
- Email Review Request: After completing the application, email headcoach@rowgeorgia.com and cc rowgeorgia@rowgeorgia.com to request an application review.

Note - An impact fee is charged for all memberships and seasons. This is a county assessed fee that helps support the maintenance and care of Lake McIntosh, where Row Georgia operates. It is not retained by RGA, it is transferred to Fayette County. Fayette County residents are assessed higher annual taxes to help cover this cost. The fee varies based on residency.
All members, adults, youth, volunteers, guests, and staff are required to adhere to the code of conduct.
